A special one..

Have you ever wondered how can someone place themselves somewhere special in your heart?

People fit in for a very simple reason, which is, your mind and heart fancies them in some way. 

We always search for the core reasons behind what we feel. Sometimes they are a cluster or mixed emotions that we can't simply pin down.

When someone grows inside you without asking for permission, and passes all your tests with flying colors. You start questioning if that is even possible. Deep down we are all afraid of being hurt somehow. That's the main reason for people driving themselves away for any simple reason that might hurt them in future.

Strangely, or let's say luckily, I have found a rare gem inside me. A special one indeed. This gem shines like a star in my darkest nights, reflects the rays of sunlight during my mornings, glows whenever I am happy, and most importantly, is mine and no one else's.

It took a very long time and pressure for this gem to carve it's shape. A malleable one too. Now that gem has become a representation of what I want my life to be. Totally the opposite of what I have feared. 

This gem, a special gem, that I have found and worked on accessorizing it too. I want it to be presentable in a way that would make everyone wish to have a piece of it. That's my gem..

There come times when I am too afraid of handling the care of it. Because it is too precious that keeping it for yourself makes you somehow paranoid. Yet, you are too territorial that you won't share it with anyone else.

It's complicated. Each day you appreciate it's beauty within your hands. Each day you still worry how to let it shine without letting others tarnish it. 

It's a rare gem. A very special one indeed..
